2011 BMW 328 Hommage

The BMW 328 is one of the greatest cars that ever came out of this fabled brand’s stable. Made from 1936 to 1940, this car was ahead of its time, winning the Mille Miglia in 1938 and stamping its class all over its rivals. Now, in commemoration of this car’s 75th year anniversary, BMW created the 2011 BMW 328 Hommage.

The BMW 328 Hommage is in essence, a version of the legendary 328 using the technological advances of this era. A modern interpretation of the original design by Fritz Fiedler and Rudolf Schleicher, it incorporates the essence of the original in many ways.

This roadster’s body is made mostly of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), which gives this car a weight of 1720 pounds, an incredible value for any car of any era. The design cues of this car are created to make the impression of being flat, wide, and dynamic.

A race car inspired interior composed of carbon fiber, aluminum, and leather reminds those inside the car of its heritage. A 3.0 liter straight-6 engine was used to propel this concept, and light alloy wheels plants this car to the ground.

While this car is almost sure to never make it to the assembly line, the 2011 BMW 328 Hommage has accomplished its mission: to pay homage to one historic BMW vehicle, the legendary 328.

2011 G-Power BMW M3 GTS

G-Power is a tuning company specializing in producing parts, as well as upgrading BMWs. M-series cars are their specialty, and for this specific project, they got hold of the E92 M3 GTS, a race-inspired car that was limited to only 150 units worldwide, and created what they call the world’s most powerful M3.

The 2011 G-Power BMW M3 GTS starts its life as an “ordinary” BMW M3 GTS, a car designed to take on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. By equipping this car with a supercharger, together with reinforced con rods, crankshaft, and engine block, the output of the M3’s V8 is increased dramatically: 635 horsepower to be exact. This represents a nearly 200 horsepower increase in power. This provides some serious performance numbers: zero to 100 kph comes in 4.2 seconds, and zero to 200 kph is clocked at 11.9 seconds. Top speed achieved by this car is around 200 miles per hour.

With these upgrades, the potential for the G-Power BMW M3 GTS is sky-high. It is capable of creating some seriously quick lap times. The upgrades, developed under the pressure of competing in events such as the Nurburgring 24 Hour race, just fit seamlessly, ensuring both smoothness and durability. The G-Power BMW M3 GTS, the world’s fastest M3, is ready to take on Porsches and the rest of the world.

2011 G-Power BMW X6 M Typhoon S

No other name is fitting for the speed and power of the G-Power BMW X6 M Typhoon S. Its name sounds legendary.

The G-POWER BMW X6 M TYPHOON S stands above the rest because of its recalibrated front skirt. Redesigned like a Da Vinci painting to imitate the G-POWER TYPHOON wide-body kit, the front skirt with bigger air intakes gives the car the look of the BMW X6 M. The aesthetic factor in the equilibrium look of the X6 TYPHOON S is the G-POWER bonnet made of carbon fiber.

The Venturi-effect engine bay vent is utilized to cool the car while moving and the ABS grilles are used for stationary ventilation. The engine bay and ABS grilles guarantee better engine dissipation of hot air made by the turbochargers.

The BMW X6 M TYPHOON S not only catches attention but delivers high speed and power. It has a remarkable 725 hp that can race to a top speed of 300 km/h and can accelerate to a speed of 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Optimized networked channels run across the turbochargers and cylinder heads to lessen pressure and shock losses.

The result is an upgrade to 170 hp, taking the total upgrade to a superb 725 hp at 6,000 r/min and 890 Nm of torque as of 1,500 r/min. The price range of the machine ranges from €6, 990 to €13, 526.05 including all the upgrades.

2011 Mansory BMW 7 Series

You will never find a luxury car compared to the Mansory BMW 7 series. The design of the Mansory BMW 7 is one of elegance and luxury. The parts fit well with the LED daytime running lights and the brand new carbon radiator grill and the MANSORY 7 series front stylistically catches the eye and never lets it go. The car’s parts mesh well like a work of art that the roof spoiler, the rear rim and the rear apron designed in the diffuser all look like it was taken out of Michelangelo’s eyes.

It has an engine of 6 liter V12, twin turbochargers aspiration, 640 hp, and a torque of 679 lb-ft.

The Mansory does not only provide beautiful designs but it also gives great performance. The Mansory 760 Li zooms to a speed of 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

The Mansory’s speed cannot be handled by plain tires. The rims are 22 inches and 10 inches wide and take the pressure of high performance wheels that measure 295/30 at the back and 265/35 at the front axle.

2011 BMW 6 Series Coupe

2011 BMW M3 Pick Up

Pop the hood and you’ll see a supercharged V8 engine powering this luxury pickup. It runs with 420 horsepower even with a maximum weight capacity of 450 kilos, the biggest among BMW M selections. It grants drivers the pleasures of a sports car while serving its purpose as a utility vehicle.

Prior to its introduction in April 1, the car has passed extensive tests on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife giving verified proof of the car’s unbeatable performance. The brilliant minds at BMW M GmbH center have once again proven that everybody deserves the best of both worlds.

The 2011 BMW M3 can accommodate a good amount of cargo with its spacious rear load area with removable Targa roofing. The bed is lined with high-grade aluminum sheets. This pickup model is the first from the M3 range that comes with a trailer tow hitch. Despite an April Fools introduction, the 2011 BMW M3 is not a laughing matter and it certainly not a faux. Its here and waiting for the right time to hit stores. BMW execs have yet to publish statements regarding the vehicle’s approximated value and date so keep posted on further updates on this spectacular ride.

2011 MWDesign BMW Z4 White Flame

The 2011 MWDesign BMW Z4 White Flame, just like its predecessor, the BMW Z4 Slingshot, is inspired by another golf club. This time it is the Taylor-made R-11 driver that lent its color theme to the new Z4 although in a slightly subtle fashion, thus maintaining the car’s clean and sleek exterior.

MWDesign fitted the Z4 White Flame with a new polyester front lip spoiler and 20” Forgester F10 wheels. These come in silver with polished outer lips and center caps of carbon fiber.

In terms of performance, a handsome upgrade was made by including a MIlltek 2x100mm Catback Exhaust System that was powder-coated for a ceramic-like finish. This perfectly complements the extensive aesthetic job on the Z4. Aside from the exhaust system upgrade, the power output was boosted from 300hp to 400hp making it a lot more powerful than the Slingshot. However, the Slingshot can be fitted with STETT’s FMIC intercooler that can considerably increase its power to 620hp.

The BMW Z4 White Flame is a one-off car which means that it was manufactured exclusively for one client only. This particular car was made for a friend of the company. As such, no pricing is provided. Suffice it to say, not too many people can afford a one-off car.

2011 Lumma Design BMW X6 CLR X 650

Based on the BMW X6, the 2011 Lumma Design CLR X 650 not only has additional power for better performance, but also an improved full body kit to accentuate the car’s sporty character. The interior has also been improved with four individual Recaro sports seats. The leather upholstery comes in black and beige with contrasting seams to achieve an elegant flair.

Extra power is given to the CLR X 650 thanks to the Lumma D-Box that gives the driver a full 340 horsepower and 670 Newton meters of torque. To ensure that the vehicle will give a sportier response, a Lumma accelerator pedal power module has been added. The matt black four-pipe exhaust provides the tremendous roar that emphasizes the power of the CLR X 650.

A sportier look is found in the CLR X 650 by an improved body kit that includes the front and rear spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper and a sporty looking bonnet. The overall height of CLR X 650 has been lowered by 40 millimeters giving more stability and agile driving. The high performance tires sit on 10 x 22 inch front and 12 x 22 inch rear Lumma sports rims.

By transforming the BMW X6 into the CLR X 650, Lumma Design has set new benchmarks in performance and interior/exterior designs.

2011 BMW Vision ConnectedDrive

BMW once again asserts its position as the world leader in automotive driver assistance systems and mobility services with its new 2011 BMW Vision ConnectedDrive. This two-seater roadster incorporates advanced technology and design concepts heightening the distinctive BMW driving pleasure.

Connectivity is the technology of the future and it is well integrated into the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive. The technology used to enhance the connectivity between the vehicle, the driver, the passengers and the environment is astounding. For example, the enhanced Heads-up Display delivers a three dimensional display of the actual view of the road ahead. The passenger can also act as a co-pilot analyzing a route via a passenger information display system and forwarding the information directly to the driver instrument panel. The navigation system is online and information is transmitted and retrieved via antennas.

The exterior design of this concept vehicle incorporates the distinguishable BMW design language. The vehicle appears to be accelerating even at a standstill position. The doors to the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive slide directly into the body allowing the vehicle to be driven even with its doors open.

BMW has excellently combined in-car technology, comfort and safety into this vehicle. Ultimate driving pleasure is realized with the 2011 BMW Vision ConnectedDrive.

2011 G-Power BMW M6 Hurricane RR

G-Power continues to improve on their products. Otherwise, the 2011 G-Power BMW M6 Hurricane RR may not have seen the light of day.

Reaching a top speed of 367.4 kilometer per hour (kph), G-Power’s M5 Hurricane RS was able to break the record and became world’s fastest saloon car in 2008. But G-Power did not stop at that and went further still, taking the record to an all-time high of 372 kph. And G-Power made it possible with an evolved version of the car whose record they break: the M5 Hurricane RR.

Now, M5 Hurricane RR’s V10 engine with twin supercharger aspiration is combined with BMW’s full-size coupe resulting to a four-seater which is probably the fastest in the world: the G-Power BMW M6 Hurricane RR. G-Power BMW M6 Hurricane RR has an 800 hp at 7 500 to 8 000 rpm. Top speed is 228 mph and can go from 0-100 kph in under 4.35 seconds.

2011 Kelleners Sport BMW 535i

Kelleners Sport has come back with a refined F10 BMW 535i.

For the sporty look, the BMW 535i takes on a completely new aerodynamic package. Not only is its interior and exterior upgraded, BMW has increased its power.

The 2011 Kelleners Sport BMW 535i has more horsepower than its former version. From 400 Newton meters, its maximum torque has been raised to 480. Even the driving dynamic have been enhanced as its performance spring makes this BMW 30 millimeters lower. Even the wheels were given upgrades for the simple fact that wheels contribute to the car’s overall performance.

The new wheel alloys dubbed as “Berlin” and “Hamburg” comes in 19-inch and 20-inch options. The “Berlin” wheel design has its five double upper spokes in a different color from the five lower ones and the tires are available in Polished Graphite Silver, Matt Black, and Polished Matte Black.

2011 RENM BMW E92 M3 Agitator

An agitator refers to an apparatus that stirs up or shakes, disturbing the present condition. The M3 Agitator, based on E92 BMW M3, is yet another innovation by RENM. However, the focus of this creation is to allocate a more linear and practical spread of power from the entire power band, specifically the lower to middle range, with the engine lacking response in standard form. Since power is not the major concern, it is raised to 450PS/331KW/440NM from 420PS/309KW/400NM. The M3 Agitator package allows an improved driving dynamic compared to E9 BMW M3 in which its OEM components restricts a high performance.

Features are added to the tuning program that include ECU re-calibration, carbon fiber air-intake, sports air filters, inconel high-performance exhaust, and adjustable ride height or dampening suspension. The agitator offers an extremely stable and better heat resistance due to its inconel Formula 1 exhaust technology. The rear silencer is also 40% lighter over the production unit, increasing then the performance of the car.

2011 Mansory BMW X5

The Swiss tuning company has finally started to modify the German giant BMW that encompasses both performance and style. The broad modification process on bodywork, performance, and the interior of Mansory will be first experienced by the BMW X5. The system for the SUV X5 focused on making it sportier in appearance with the addition of a largely established front spoiler with extensive cooling air inlets. A carbon-made engine bonnet optimizes fresh air supply to the front motor. It also captures a uniqueness by the building of wider fenders.

As mentioned earlier, the design must always complement the performance. Thus, a major upgrade was done to attain a dynamic performance. From 555 hp to 670 hp and a torque from 680 Nm to 950 Nm are the results of using entirely new exhaust system together with the headers and engine electrics. Because of this, in just a matter of 4.2 seconds, the car accelerates to 100 km/h. The sports suspension and break system add to the masculinity of the Mansory BMW X5.

2011 G-Power BMW X5 M Typhoon

The G-power body kit has been able to make a way for a maximized base output of the 4.4-liter V8 bi-turbo engine of more or less than 725 hp. It also allows maximum aerodynamic performance because of its well-built blazed wheel arches, the unique skirts, and the front and rear spoilers. The flared wheels also come with perfectly harmonized inner panels, giving an extra width of seven centimeters, thus allowing for 23-inch wide wheels and tires. It is also r improved by the G-Power Silverstone that allows favorable traction and sporty handling. This is enhanced by the G-Power sports suspension and a lowered height of 30 mm.

A distinct feature of this modified BMW SUV is the skirt in front that is built in-house. These skirts allow large air intake, thereby supplying an optimum cooling of the engine and the front breaks but lessening the aerodynamic lift on the front axle as well.

2010 MWDesign BMW Z4 E89 Slingshot

The 2010 MW Design BMW Z4 E89 Slingshot is an eye-catching new breed of the BMW roadster. Styled with various parts from different tuners to create a package called Z4 E89 Slingshot, the car comes with an eye-riveting lime-green accent that stands out against an overall matte-black design.

Inspired by Nike’s Slingshot golf club series, the fast and sporty car has a three-dimensional rear spoiler design, an AC Schnitzer Front Addon Spoiler up front, and custom-built wheels with high-gloss tinted brushed aluminum finish. The 2010 MW Design BMW Z4 E89 Slingshot is powered by a three-liter inline-6 and has 400 horsepower.

Overall, the 2010 MW Design BMW Z4 E89 Slingshot is a visually arresting car that can leave one positively shaken and stirred. It’s classy enough to suit the multifaceted personalities of modern drivers who want cool yet reliable fast cars. Safe and proper handling is ensured with Eibach and H&R suspension components.

2011 Bentley Continental Supersport Convertible World Ice Speed Record

The world ice speed record was shattered on 15 February 2011 in Oulu, Finland by rally champion Juha Kankkunen. Achieving a top speed of 205.48 mph, Kankkunen broke his previous world record of 199.83 mph set in 2007 at the same location.

Kankkunen shattered the previous world record that he also set, in a 12 cylinder, 6 liter Continental Supersport Convertible running on E85 bio-ethanol. The fuel selection was largely due to Bentley’s commitment for a cleaner environment and sustainable fuel sources.

Juha Kankkunen managed to overcome the perilous endeavor with the help of Bentley engineers and his own experienced team. Kankunnen and the team faced temperatures of minus 30 degrees, sudden snow blizzards and dangerous crosswinds to set the new world record on a 16.5 km track sitting on 70 centimeters of sea ice.

Only minimum modifications were made on the Continental Supersport Convertible. The team added a rear bumper mounted parachute and a fully welded heavy duty safety roll-cage to ensure the safety of Kankkunen in emergency situations. The run was done on Pirelli SottoZero II 275/40R20 winter tires.

Bentley will only offer a limited edition of 100 units of this extreme model Continental. The car will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show on the 1st of March.

Light-weight carbon Kevlar features bring the RENM further in its optimal automobile performance—front and rear areas of the aero kit, in particular, that include revamped front and rear grilles, a front splitter, break cooled chambers and a rear diffuser.

The upgraded Spyder, in addition, comes with an ECU recalibration, a height-adjustable suspension that’s race-hydraulic, carbon fiber air intake, performance exhaust that’s light-weight and upscale ceramic breaks. With a push of a button, the new Spyder model’s ride height and exhaust valve system are controlled. Translated to real-world driving conditions, its Racelight 20 inch diameter wheels (x11 rear) and Superlight 19 inch diameter wheels (x9 front) were developed in partnership with ATS Leichtmetallrader) to allow maximized performance for both street and race circuit use.
